Who we are

Ozlin Info is the registered business name of Lin Xie, an Australian sole trader operating remotely from New South Wales. For privacy questions, contact lin@ozlin.info or use the Contact page.

Information we collect

We may receive information you choose to provide through an enquiry, such as your name, email address, organisation and message. WordPress and security services may also process technical information such as IP address, browser, device, approximate location, login events and security logs to operate and protect the site.

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, provide and improve the website, prevent spam and abuse, maintain backups and security, meet accounting or legal obligations, and understand aggregate site performance where an analytics service is enabled.

Cookies and embedded services

Essential WordPress, security and session technologies may be used for site operation. Articles may embed content or link to services operated by third parties; those providers may process information under their own notices. We do not ask visitors to send passwords, API keys, payment-card data, government identifiers or confidential incident material through the public form or email.

Advertising and consent

This staging site does not load advertising scripts. Before advertising is enabled on production, Ozlin Info must publish the authorised ads.txt record, enable a Google-certified consent-management message where required, and keep advertising non-personalised. Visitors must be able to reject or later change their choice without losing access to editorial content. If advertising is enabled, Google may process page context, general location, browser/device information, consent signals and advertising measurements as described in Google’s partner-site policies.

Sharing and overseas processing

Information may be processed by hosting, Cloudflare, WordPress, security, email, analytics or advertising providers needed for the purposes above. Providers may operate in Australia, the United States, the EEA or other locations. We do not sell enquiry information.

Retention and choices

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, security, backup recovery, accounting, legal obligations or disputes. You may ask for access or correction, opt out of direct marketing, or request deletion where applicable. Advertising choices can be changed through the consent control when production CMP is live. Australian law may require us to retain some records.

Security and complaints

We use reasonable access controls, patching, encryption in transit, backups and monitoring, but no online service is completely secure. Contact us first if you have a privacy concern. If the Privacy Act 1988 applies and you are dissatisfied after giving us a reasonable opportunity to respond, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We will update the date on this page when our practices or providers change. This staging copy is for review and must be reconciled with the production advertising and CMP configuration before release.
